Developed a flash-based interface for touch screens at the event. The flash client provided real-time management of event content allow for updates during the event. The rich media interface would provide streaming video and interactive demos that accompanied the physical products in the booth. Attendees could submit their name and email address at any time for follow up marketing and sales after the event.
Architect, technical manager, and development lead for a web-based LCMS (Learning Content Management System) that provided just-in-time curriculum customization, remote student monitoring, and correlated to federal, state, and city learning standards. The system would validate the standards compliance using evaluation and testing rubrics that are integrated into a robust testing and reporting suite.
Designed, prototyped, and illustrated a flash, html, javascript prototype for a print on-demand project management and customer relationship management system. This effort provided the opportunity to think outside of the box, to flex my art and creative background to provide a functional project management system that entertained as well as informed.
Developed financial calculators for employees of the client to assist in increasing 401(k) enrollment. The calculators were developed using a custom built cross-browser javascript framework that integrated with server-side algorithms written in perl, cold fusion, and php.
Created a magazine sampler to showcase my photoshop and graphic design skills. The designs leverage stock photography and algorithm-based generated art that combines a edgy cyberpunk feel with alternative music. I wanted to see how far I could go with the limited resources available. It must of struck a cord because I scored a magazine cover on the local Portland Design Federation and a few design gigs. :)
